A Triumphant Return to 40k?

  1. Stunning work so far! Though I’m not very knowledgeable about Warhammer lore, that colour scheme really suits the model!

I have always appreciated (but also been daunted by) the complexity of a lot of Warhammer models. I can totally understand wanting to hone your painting skills on these lovely models and you’re doing a great job!

    1. Thank you 🙂 I’m the same way and I don’t know a ton about 40k or the lore any more either. If you want to paint the models up as well as you can, 40k minis take a ton of time. I think LOTR’s scale and level of detail lend themselves much more to painting them well and getting them on the tabletop in a timely fashion but I’m clearly biased 😀

  2. My miniature wargaming hobby started with 40k, so it always has a warm place in my heart. But I doubt I would collect it again. But the 40k miniatures certainly are pretty, especially when painted well. Great start on this miniature and good luck in the painting competition. 😀

    1. Glad to hear I’m not the only one who won’t collect it again and who started with it 🙂 Thanks! I’ll be relieved when this guy is done and I can get back to focusing on MESBG stuff 😀
