  1. Holy token city Batman! That is a lot of tokens!”
Congratulations Kuribo! You’re officially a member of the club of Wargamers who have more than one game/miniature genre. It’s an exclusive club that only consists of about 90% of us. Actually, you were more unique before. 😀

Hope you have fun with this game. Appears to be one of those board games/ miniature Wargame hybrids. I don’t know anything about it, but the art looks cool.

    1. Haha, in that case, I quit Fallout before I get started! 😀 In all seriousness, I wonder how well I can balance playing two different games (my guess is not well) but I look forward to the madness. I appreciate your encouragement in purchasing a new game as well. I’m sure I’ll touch upon on it in a future update but I picked the perfect time to start in this game with Games Workshop shutting down their store for nearly a month as well.

  2. I agree nice artwork and it does seem like you get good value out of this starter set. Hopefully the rules and scenario are fun, looking forward to reading your thoughts about it once you get around to it. 🙂

    1. I’m very curious to see how fun it is too (fingers crossed!). I’m glad to hear that you’ll be interested in content I post about the game too. It won’t be too long before I have some painted stuff to show off 🙂

    1. Same for me! Between Fallout 4 and New Vegas, the series quickly became a favorite video game of mine. Perhaps some more Fallout coverage here on the site may yet entice you to pick the game up down the road 🙂

    1. I appreciate you looking at these articles even though you’ve never played! I would fear that someone would find them boring if they don’t play the game but I could be wrong. I would say the tabletop games that I play are a lot like Fire Emblem, Advance Wars, Disgaea, or Final Fantasy Tactics if you’ve played any of those games. Hopefully Fallout is as much fun to play as it looks 🙂

      1. I like some of those games a lot but Fire Emblem annoys me when I tried to play it because of how challenging it is so I can see both sides of it 🙂

  3. Nice write-up. A shame that they went with PVC minis for the starter, as I feel like they’re really a suitable material for board games rather than “proper” miniatures games for the most part – largely due to the soft and bendy material – and mushy levels of detail we usually get. Can’t wait to see if your paintwork changes my mind on them!

    1. It is kind of a curious decision considering the game is really for wargamers but I think they hoped making it cheaper and new player friendly would ultimately be more profitable than making a more expensive starter set that sold less which I can understand even if I don’t love.
