The Painting of the Fellowship

  1. I love these poses of the Fellowship and you have done them proud! Kind of makes me regret skipping this set in the Made-To-Order. At the time it felt excessive because I already own a full metal and plastic Fellowship set that I painted, plus a number of extra poses of certain models. Great work!

    1. They were certainly not cheap and I hesitated a bit when it came to buying them but they have mostly turned out well thus far and they are a little less common than some of the other Fellowship sets so it is kind of nice to own them in that sense. Thank you for your kind words and for stopping by 🙂 I appreciate it!

  2. Great work on these two! I actually have a Gandalf painted, though I think I have this model still somewhere, long Neglected. After seeing yours I feel that I should see if I can find it and finish it. 🙂

    1. There are two versions of the Moria Gandalf and this is the less common one of the two but they just have the sword and staff in different poses so whichever one you’ve got, he will look similar and hopefully you can bang him out in no time 🙂

  3. I have these models sitting in my storage. Excellent painting on these and I think your being to critical on yourself. But if you like I’ll send you my unpainted Gandalf for your painted one so you can try again. Lol 😀

    1. Thank you, Stew! I probably am but I find that being critical gives you ways to improve your skills at the same time! What a generous offer! 😀 With how long this one took me, I’d be crazy to take you up on that one 🙂 Besides, you need Gandalf the White for Gondor at War unless you have some other hobby projects up your sleeves!
