It has been another taxing week, mostly due to work being busy but postal service woes have been an issue too. Not unlike the previous time I complained a few months ago, I have multiple things in the mail that I expected to receive during the week and have not received and now have to … Continue reading Ghoulish Developments and Fallout Terrain Enthusiasm
Well to say that it has been an interesting week in the United States would be an understatement. I went to bed Tuesday night reluctantly and with a lot of concern and have been feeling better and better about election news as time has gone on. Hopefully the chaos, bad behavior, and poor leadership in … Continue reading The Master of Laketown and Diorama are nearly done
While I don’t have a lot of painted miniatures or terrain to show off this week, I do have a range of things to discuss from Fallout, to MESBG, to Cool Mini Or Not of all things so there is a little bit for everyone hopefully. Fallout – The most significant hobby progress I made … Continue reading Super Mutant Reinforcements
Wait! Come back! I promise this won’t be as boring as it sounds! Its true I somehow ended up working on two different projects for two different games that both involve inanimate objects. While I’m hardly one of the old masters painting a still life, I think I do have some decent work to show … Continue reading More Thoughts on Painting Inanimate Objects
Actually the whole week in terms of hobbying has been challenging this time around which is part of the reason I’m posting an article a bit later than usual. While I was on a bit of a tear writing articles lately, I have also been painting at an enjoyable pace behind the scenes which is mostly the focus of today’s update. I have what feels like a good amount of minis to show off though I do have to admit that part of me … Continue reading Wasteland in Progress
Well, as the title suggests, real life concerns will be discussed today along with more painting progress. I was kind of hoping to be further along with the Primaris marine at this point but this week was stressful and exhausting at work and in real life, unfortunately. I keep telling myself, I’ve got one more … Continue reading Another Dark Angels Update and How the USPS is Ruining my Hobby
While I’m still not completely caught up on what everyone has been up to over the past month, I’m doing the best I can and have been enjoying hobbying for the most part this week. It has been a welcome refuge from a truly crazy work week too. I did get the Scibor Dwarf up … Continue reading Plenty of Fallout Progress
Hello everyone, my apologies for the absence. It was an unexpected and unwanted sabbatical unfortunately. Almost a month ago, the electricity went out in my apartment and apparently it knocked out the motherboard in my computer too. In a further twist of bad luck, Chicago was hit with rioting like many other cities in the … Continue reading Scibor Project Finished and 40k Started
I had intended to discuss my experience with Scibor in my previous post but found it was easier to make the topic of its own post. This week, I have the time and space to really delve into it so let’s talk about my experience painting them and look at some past projects and what … Continue reading In Pursuit of Scibor Dwarven Glory
