In a shocking turn of events, I have a surprise battle report for you. I had some time last weekend and wanted to try out the AI in Fallout Wasteland Warfare so I thought why not do that and have an epilogue to the starter campaign while I’m at it? As you may recall, Jeff’s … Continue reading Fallout Wasteland Warfare – Loot The Area – Battle Report
After a tough week, hobbying has been a welcome and necessary escape for me. As I waited for more things for the diorama to arrive, I decided to focus on something that I started painting and never got very far with. I think it was meant to be done between a display project and something … Continue reading Fallout – Raiders of the Lost Vault
With Eomer done, I was looking for something to paint that was a “quick win” as people like to say in the business world. I wanted to paint more frogs for Hellboy but I didn’t have the paint I needed, so instead I chose to paint my second and final Protectron from the Protectron and … Continue reading Fallout: Double Protectron
Wait, what? Where’s Eomer? Well, I had to wait on supplies to get moving on the base and I thought to myself, if I can get a bit more terrain done for Fallout, that would justify me being able to play again in the near future. So I started another storage crate and managed to … Continue reading Fallout – Crates Upon Crates
Another week, another Fallout-based pun. Fortunately, I have regained hobby momentum this week and so I have more to share than in the last couple of weeks. I had some time to fill so I started another Fallout mini. For whatever reason, its hard to find decent pictures of Assaultrons in Fallout 4. I could … Continue reading Fallout – Assaultron and Battery
It has been a fairly mundane week of painting for me but I did manage to get a few things done that are not necessarily fun to paint but good to get done. First up, I got another objective marker done for Fallout. If you’ve followed my painting progress for a while, then you probably … Continue reading Fallout – Nuke That Thirst!
I was able to get myself out of the painting funk this week by tackling a surprisingly fun mini. If you’ve ever played Fallout, you probably know a bit about the Protectrons that patrol buildings in the post-apocalypse wasteland. In some places you can hack computer terminals and flip the security robots on and they’ll … Continue reading Fallout – Under Protectron
I’m back! Where was I, you ask? I was lucky enough to have a week long vacation in Arizona with my Dad and brother which was my first time traveling since before the pandemic. I haven’t had time to go through all of my photos but I do have a few I can share. We … Continue reading Fallout Shipping Container and Savage Core Neanderthal
We’ve finally arrived at the final tutorial scenario in Fallout Wasteland Warfare which is the end of the campaign. While I’ve had the best of intentions of completing super huge campaigns in MESBG, this is the first campaign I’ve seen to its conclusion in my wargaming career. Hopefully there will be plenty more in future … Continue reading The Coming Storm – Fallout Battle Report
It has been an interesting week hobby-wise with quite a few things to discuss so let’s not waste any time. First up, I had great fun today getting my recently finished shotgun-style house, which Black Site Studio calls the Kingsley Residence, ready for some photos. I’m not quite sure what to call the house so … Continue reading Fallout – A Final Look at the Kingsley Residence
