Predictably, I have another update on the Dark Eldar project and also predictably, he isn’t done yet! I do hope it isn’t too boring seeing the same model slowly come together over the span of a month. I know even I get a little sick of looking at the same thing over time. I double-checked … Continue reading Are you sick of Drazhar yet?
As you probably would have guessed, I have more progress on Drazhar to share. It isn’t as much as I thought there would be but what I do have to show looks good, I think. I got through the tedium of painting the arms and found painting the shoulder plates invigorating. Painting NMM is funny … Continue reading Yet more Drazhar and some Exciting Releases
I have officially hit the middle section of painting Drazhar which is the worst/hardest part. When you get to this point, you have a decent sense of what the miniature looks like and while you want to speed ahead and try to finish the miniature, you can’t because you need to stay patient and keep … Continue reading Slow but steady progress and an improvement in my Fallout games
As you would expect, I have some more progress on Drazhar to show off this week. I took a quick look at last week’s update to see how much progress I’ve made and while I initially thought I hadn’t done that much, I think I can proud of the progress I’ve made. Here’s a look … Continue reading Painting Draz is no drag
I got my 40k miniature going this week and happily have some progress to show off. As the title suggests, Drazhar is a Dark Eldar or Drukhari (insert GW copyright joke here) and they are a faction I’ve always wanted to paint. Lelith Hesperax was the Dark Eldar model that I was most interested but … Continue reading Starting on Drazhar the Dark Eldar
I bet that title got your attention! It has been a wild two weeks and enough has happened to nearly cause hobby whiplash so what I will try to do is explain what’s been going on in a concise manner and then share the usual hobby progress afterwards. First, I tried to paint the first … Continue reading Paint some bloody Warhammer
I wanted to start off by sharing the “final” photos of my Hobbit diorama and a few thoughts on making my first diorama too. I say “final” because one day I’m sure I will upgrade my camera because the one I have is approaching being ten years old and it does struggle a bit with … Continue reading The Master’s Favorite Holiday – Tax Day Diorama
Well to say that it has been an interesting week in the United States would be an understatement. I went to bed Tuesday night reluctantly and with a lot of concern and have been feeling better and better about election news as time has gone on. Hopefully the chaos, bad behavior, and poor leadership in … Continue reading The Master of Laketown and Diorama are nearly done
I’ve got a little bit of everything to discuss in today’s update so I’ll break things up by subject matter to make it easy to see what you’re going to be reading about. Let’s not waste any further time and get into it! MESBG – As the title suggests, I am working on my first … Continue reading Starting my first MESBG diorama
First off, I have a service announcement. I have purchased the domain KuribosPainting.com and you can now access the site that way. You can still use the old address to get here but the rebranding has finally occurred thanks to WordPress offering 50% off their usual price. I think the new URL fits the spirit … Continue reading Dark Angels Primaris Captain Done
